Not to be judgy, but that is 100% the parents fault. My daughter is 9, never ever had her own tablet or phone, and we almost never give her ours. She was raised with books around her, always had books in her activity bag when we would go out or travel, and now she loves reading (and ready way above her grade level). The kid has her nose in a book daily and it's wonderful. Kids should not be getting smart screens until they're much older.

They're being raised by ads and propaganda. It's lazy parenting and making excuses doesn't change that.

I've had these on my amazon list for a while now. Definitely pulling the trigger on any that are $15. For reference, these are normally at least $25 used.

Picking up at least 1 for an 8 year old that loves this stuff. Pricing has been hovering around 25-30 for each of these in the last 6 months according to CCC.

Keepa show the Zoology book (416pgs) has never been above $24.84 since May of this year. Some price tracking tools could help with tracking things you're looking for.

Still, at $15 it's a heck of a price.

Exactly. I showed this to my7 year old. Just a few pages so I would not reveal a potential Christmas gift. She was not interested. Roblox, new IPad, and some stuffed animals. That's her wishlist
