The next cheapest (right now) is the Cheaper AOC Mini-LED which has less LDZ and costs more. https://www.amazon.com/AOC-Q27G3X...B0C8ZJ
Still, feature wise it's pretty sad. The nicer AOC which has decent KVM built in as well as newer inputs such as HDMI 2.1 and USB C PD has been demolished by reviewers, but on paper it is pretty premium. Price-wise you're close to entry level OLED territory https://www.amazon.com/AOC-Q27G3X...B0C8ZJ
Also the Xiaomi https://www.walmart.com/ip/Xiaomi...677651
Further, once you're at around $500, you can start purchasing entry level 2.5k and 4k 27" OLED Gaming monitors, such as this Samsung G6: https://www.samsung.com/us/comput...g602sn
The OLED monitors are going to be a full evolutionary generation better than the Mini-LEDs, which are a full evolutionary generation better than the non-Mini-LEDs.
I still haven't decided what to get my gamer GF for xmas though.
