I didn't realize the legion 7i even had an i7-14700HX option. I really wanted the i9, but this is so much cheaper than any other 7i specs ..

Despite being an open box, this is one of the best 4060 gaming laptops right now.

No, it's not.
It's YMMV, which is mentioned in the post and it still shows available in good condition over at my end.

There's only FAIR condition laptops in my area. Has anyone had luck buying Fair condition? Seems like a lot to spend on something in FAIR condition. :/

I bought a fair zenbook from best buy. Only came with laptop and charger and had a "scratch" on it which turned out to be the sticky stuff from a label or something. Perfect condition otherwise. You can check it out when you pick it up and reject if you're interested in the deal and are willing to take a chance. I think there are horror stories though so ymmv.

There's this locally and the Lenovo loq 15.6" with the 4060 and ryzen 7 7435hs for 635$... I'm thinking the Lenovo because it'll do what I need and I use gfn and boosteroid anyhow so just want the HDMI 2.1 output.

I checked out a fair. It didn't come with a charger and it had heavy scratches from the security tag on the bottom as it was a demo unit.

I just bought a "Good" the other day. Manufacture date was the end of July and looks brand new. It was dinged for scratches which I can't even find. Stacked the 5% PayPal deal and the 25 bucks back off Amex which negated the tax.
