this is a good price, but a life hack for those that like this and a few other candies: there's those 'movie theater' boxes of pieces usually 1.25 or 1 dollar when on sale (frequently). They have 4 ounces. They are priced completely different then all other packaged candies of the same brands. A bag version with a comparable amount of pieces costs 3 times that.

I have no idea why. But it just is. So while this huge bag is a little less per ounce, it's not a huge different to just buy 12 of those theater style boxes. It's like a permanent slick deal.

They are downsizing them. Same at dollar tree. Smaller size boxes now.

Good advice for those that are not aware. However, they don't stay as fresh, and they easily pick up the smell in the store.

Walmart's 4oz box is currently $1.24 (0.31c per oz) and this deal is 0.21c per oz.
