Got this last time it was on sale, no complaints. Works the same as the no-name options. Just wish there was an option with less or no mesh to allowed water to brew in the cup for a second longer

It's still plastic, I prefer stainless steel.

Then you want a newer machine with the "Strong" setting. That's exactly what that does.

I've tried them all, I think. I keep coming back to these, which are far cheaper. They distribute the water nicely because they have a rounded distributer (for lack of a better name), which also allows you to fill it higher with coffee. It has a lot of mesh for better strength and you can put it in the machine without worrying about the pin putting a hole through the bottom because the screen is recessed.

This is the one I have. On sale, so not a bad price. However you can find them used easily on craigslist and offerup for about $40 to $50 and some are in almost like new condition

Got my first K-Cup machine. I assume this works with all but what is better steel or plastic? Does it influence the taste?

I'm in for one. I love the stainless ones but they do tend to make a mess because the water overflows from the top towards the end of the brew.

Does universal mean that it fits in every Keurig machine ever made?

What is the point of this? If you're going this route wouldn't you be better off just using a regular coffee maker? Seems like it defeats the purpose of a pod machine

This was $7.98 when I bought it a few weeks ago. So "non-sale" price of $15.99 is interesting

thats black friday pricing for you, jack up the price to double right before the day of the sale then claim it is 50% off
