Got this on sale at Costco a couple months ago with an additional water tank and additional flavors for $99. Compared to our old Soda Stream, this is a bit slower, but nice that you don't have to use the Soda Stream bottles. It takes Soda Stream tanks (original, not the newer ones). Good amount of bubbles at the highest carbonation level and overall have been very happy with it.
I picked one up at Target yesterday. I was originally looking at getting a SodaStream Art but then came across this on Target's website while I was comparison shopping. After a bit of research I realized that the Thirsti was much superior. I really like how with the Thirsti it can make your drink directly into your drinking vessel - it is like having your own soda fountain at home. With the SodaStream you have to use their special bottles which means you often end up making more than you need to drink right away and plus you also have to worry about cleaning the bottles. I can see how we would stop using the SodaStream pretty quickly due to the hassle.
We are used to drinking LaCroix and find the flavors too "strong" but this is easily fixed by first making 6oz of flavored sparkling water followed by 6oz of plain sparkling water. I also got a bottle of the SodaStream Pepsi syrup (also on sale right now) and will try replicating vanilla cola at home. We are using the lowest carbonation setting and find it to be plenty (I haven't tried the higher settings yet).

Anyways, this is a no brainer at this price.
I still see at my target for 129$ , did you get it for 79$?
