These types of containers are great but lids not so much. I bought similar set few months ago and two lids cracked. Contacted company and they replaced the lids but I see another one getting cracked. It won't last long. Not worth collecting waste.
I've had plenty of these lids last for years with no issues, so YMMV. But lid problems are the only complaints you usually see with Pyrex and they're a little more common than they should be. General rule is to always hand wash the lids to prevent warping and cracking.

This is a good deal. I'll get a set for my son who just moved out on his own. I've used these for 10 years and never had a lid fail. I don't microwave the lids, but I do put them in the dishwasher, however I don't use the heated dry setting (to save on electricity, not to protect the lids).

How does this price compare to the various similar sets they sell at Costco?

Also in response to the lids, I have various Pyrex sets as well the the Costco ones and most lids have lasted 5-10 years with a few exceptions that have cracked or in the case of the Costco version a side fallen off. We always hand wash them and never put these in the microwave. I bought silicone covers from ikea to microwave with or just put plates over round bowls sometimes as I want the least amount of microplastic in my food 🤷🏻 ♀️

There are some silicone versions I've seen online, may end up getting those as they last much longer than these cheap plastic ones. Rather spend a little more on those, especially if on sale during the holidays, then buy a whole new set every few years just for the lids. They're only warrantied for 2yrs, then you're on your own to replace the lids!

I like the idea of silicone lids but boy they're expensive.

Doesn't Costco have some coupon going on these days for these containers?. Never purchased one from Costco but want to try those snap lids. These regular lids crack all the time with little use.

If you mean the snapware version for $30 (online) after coupon those lids also break if you're not gentle 😂. They don't crack (at least mine hasn't after 8 years or so?) but the sides will eventually fall off even with handwashing and never putting them anywhere warm

EDIT
Actually just made a trip to my local store and it's only $20 in store vs the $31 online so I bought it instead of this set as it has a lot more bigger sizes that we tend to use more.

Includes:
(2) 1-cup small round containers with lids
(2) 2-cup small rectangular containers with lids
(2) 4-cup medium square containers with lids
(2) 4-cup medium round containers with lids
(1) 6-cup large rectangular container with lid

IME it's freezing the containers with lids that made them brittle and crack -able.

but my Pyrex is old, bought at an outlet years ago. I got an extra set that I've used to replace lids over the years.

Stacking them in the fridge also seemed to exacerbate lid breakage.
