Looks very cool and I almost pulled the trigger until I read the reviews. Several people complained about missing pieces, some pieces not fitting together and the whole thing being flimsy. At first, I thought "that's odd, I've never had a bad experience with LEGO" but then I realized this wasn't LEGO.

And you believed them 100%? I thought you're supposed to take it as a grain of salt. Heck we can get a feel of YouTubers being biased or not while showcasing their stuff

Not sure what this has to do with YouTube. When I read reviews and one or two mention an issue, I think it's probably a user error or a one-off defect. But when several people complain about the same exact problems, there's probably something there. Add to this the fact that I have a lot of experience with lego as well as off brand sets, and I know from experience how it's just a different building experience when it's not the real thing.

Edit: I'm also not sure what you're insinuating. Do you think that LEGO is paying people to post bad reviews on competitor products?

I am tempted by this, as I have the Lego Atari 2600 and NES + TV. But the more pics of finished builds I see, the more "not Lego quality in design" it looks. Needed more time in R&D. Maybe if it was $50 I would spring.
And I got nothing against Mega Construx, I have some of their Master of the Universe stuff.
