The oled display sounds nice, but for $850 I would have hoped for a dedicated GPU. I think they're thinking a bit much of their apus. Supposedly the 890m performs just under a GTX 1060 desktop GPU, but this unit is an 880m so IDK.

This is a 14" thin and light ultrabook. Youre not gonna find a laptop thats 14" that weights under 3lb with a dedicated graphics card.

32GB of RAM at this price and it is a great deal. At 24GB, it is meh. I tend to keep my laptop for a long time so 32GB will future proof it a bit compared to 24GB.

It's very kin to telling someone they're special. Rare doesn't mean good! I actually have experience in these type boutique items. I bought a 7840u powered GPD Win Max 2. It is a 10" touch screen with more ports than this machine including oculink. After buying it for $1k I can say a dedicated GPU would have been nice. 14" isn't that rare.

Edit; I guess what was on my mind was this video from toastybros where they recently had a laptop for $499. Its a 15.6" non oled, but has rtx 4050

Yes - has 50 TOPS

AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 Processor 2.0GHz (34MB Cache, up to 5.0GHz, 10 cores, 20 Threads); AMD XDNA NPU up to 50TOPS

"scores 2,730 and 13,032 points in Geekbench 6.2's single and multi-core tests." Result ok. M4 is 3800
And 15000. Single core performance should be ok for most users

No app compatibility issues like snapdragon. Idk about real battery life though

Good deal. It always irks me though when they don't have dual channel ram config, even if the performance is negligible for real world use. It's like Sammy tvs not having DV. I probably won't notice the difference but I'll know, and it will bug me. Lol

Have you looked at the reviews of this processor in other Asus laptops like zenbook 16 s? Assuming it is not too throttles, Radeon graphics will be sufficient for casual gamers. It is an excellent deal at this price for the specs. Not pulling the trigger because of build quality risks and waiting for deal on ProArt or Zenbook with same processor.

Integrated RAM is so inconvenient. Do they have a 32GB version of this? Asus keyboards aren't known for great, either, supposedly cramped and less travel.
The keyboard thing varies from model to model. Its not a generalization that can be followed. The keyboard on this one is fine, trackpad not as great imo, but about the same as every other track pad out there. There is a 32gb variant option

take a moment and look at prices of laptops with a AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 CPU and then come back and say that $850 isn't a great price.

I believe the 24GB config IS dual channel RAM. There are 12GB LPDDR5X NAND chips, so a 24GB config would have 2 components.

Any suggestions on an ultrabook with a dedicated GPU? I currently have a Mb air which I was going to couple with a gaming laptop but I don't think I'll be using both laptops often to justify having two separate laptops and just stick with one.
