This year many of these models have been cheaper in very recent history (e.g., amazon had the A3500 for $349 a few days ago). They were cheaper right before the new Ascent series came out, as well. Maybe prices will drop around black friday or cyber monday. Previous posters have mentioned the refurbished A3500 being around $300 on Black Friday.

Funny you say that cause I finally tossed out my mom's old 80s oster two days ago. It's not even close to keeping up with the power of my Vitamix. I no longer fear blackberry seeds in my smoothies.

This year many of these models have been cheaper in very recent history (e.g., amazon had the A3500 for $349 a few days ago). They were cheaper right before the new Ascent series came out, as well. Maybe prices will drop around black friday or cyber monday. Previous posters have mentioned the refurbished A3500 being around $300 on Black Friday.

got the A3500 from amazon last week for $350 + 10% back on prime card.

Looking at the V1200 for $200. Is the A3500 worth the extra $$?

Thanks but out of stock for shipping and unavailable in my area.

I would love to get a container and lit that could fit under my counters as currently I have to remove the stock lid. It's about 1.5" too tall…
