Just an FYI the 2C has some connectivity issues with the Steam Deck.

The dongle also does not play well with USB 3.0

Both appear to be relatively well documented issues. I

'm still trying because I really like the Wukong one but thought you all might like to know about my experience.

Nope. My wife enthusiastically purchased 2 because of the colors.

Hadn't read about this, but definitely experienced random disconnects with my Steam Deck and my 2C (using dongle directly connected to a dock). I changed things so the dongle is connected to a 1 foot USB extension cable (USB2 cable, so no pins for USB 3) and placed it in front of my dock. Seems to be a lot better, but I don't get tons of time to play, so might be too soon to know for sure, but I haven't had a disconnect in the last 8 hours of play.

In case it matters, I've got a JSAUX dock (1st gen) with Gigabit Ethernet and 3 USB3 ports. None of the ports were ever connected to USB3 devices and right now, the dongle+extension is plugged into the one nearest the Ethernet. The port next to it has a USB light (no data; so I remember to turn off power to keep from charging 100% of the time) and the 3rd port is unused.

I had the Ultimare C in green, it was solid for 2 months. But after 2 months of use, the left or right stick (can't recall which side) started drifting so much I couldn't use it anymore. I had to switch back to my old Stadia controller.

Xbox had hall effect close to this price?
I think it was slightly higher but just curious because the xbox licensed one and the regular hall effect ultimate looks identical but one has glowing reviews and the xbox one had a lot of complaints about the sticks

Does this work well to play on Window PC (Steam, Epic, etc)? I have Dualshock 4 but it's going bad recently lol.
Yes - PC is the ideal use case for this particular model

I have been using this for a month now. It's much better than the Xbox wireless controller. There's a bit more weight to it which making it feels more solid. The joysticks are hall effects.

Do these support the "8bitdo Ultimate Software" that allows you to fully customize the buttons?
I have the purple model, I have not got it to work with the software, or program the m3,m4 buttons... I just cannot figure it out, manual is no help either, says do this and that but nothing happens, I turned to software and it never connected, recognized when you first turn in the controller, but after that software does not see it. ..
I mainly use it on windows with the included dongle, Bluetooth worked too on Windows I found the dongle to less lagged if that makes sense periodically it would just take a second to do inputs in helldiver's2 and it was noticeable. So switched to dongle, no issues
I like the controller it's a lil bit smaller than an Xbox controller on the layout, but has lasted WAY longer than any xbox controller on terms of stick drift, for some reason I could kill a Xbox controller in a month on the sticks
Would I buy it again, yeah even without the extra buttons

The older version of this controller has been on sale for $24.99 plenty of times, however, the current model on sale contains hall effects sensor joysticks which is a plus. IMHO, the inclusion of an R4/L4 button on the current model is borderline superfluous and has an odd placement, and Russ of Retro Game Corps mentioned that the D-Pad is somewhat off.

Anyone know if this controller works with a Samsung TV (2022) via the dongle? I use my Xbox controller over Bluetooth for Geforce Now on my TV, but pairing/unpairing it is a pain. Curious if I can pop the USB dongle into the back of my TV, and it will just work without any additional setup?

All I can say is I have no issues when connecting to my laptop via normal usb extender. But with my rog extreme z1 handheld with dock, it loses connection and refuses to connect once disconnected. One time it drove me nuts since I restarted the handheld several times. So my suggestion is avoid the headache if you use that particular handheld

I've been using one of the Ultimate 2C controllers for a week or so, and noticed it would randomly disconnect or shut off the controller when using the 2.4Ghz USB dongle, but didn't have this trouble in Bluetooth mode. I believe a Logitech receiver plugged into my Steam Deck's dock is interfering with the 8BitDo receiver. I've heard similar things online, but haven't tested it.
So for anyone who is looking at these controllers, they seem nice for the price. Just be aware, the 2.4Ghz dongle may throw a fit if it's near another 2.4Ghz dongle, such as a Logitech keyboard. You can use the controller in Bluetooth mode (with longer latency times, unfortunately) if you really need both on at the same time.

"Xbox" "best d-pads"

😂
You clearly haven't used one. They are very precise for fighting games... In fact I'd say that Nintendo and Sony's Dpads are subpar in comparison for half circles and all kinds of difficult input. As for these controllers, they are generally regarded as very good value due to the hall effect sticks/triggers. The drawback and reason the Xbox controller is still preferred even though it is faulty, is that these are not good for larger hands due to the angle of the grips.

I ordered one from Amazon and 2 months later it still never shipped (expected date kept getting pushed back). Decided to cancel the order. Has anyone successfully gotten one?
Similar story here. Ordered one Nov 2 (almost a month ago) and it still hasn't shipped.
