We actually use our all the time. It's sits in the kitchen. The kids love asking it questions (and trying to cheat on homework). We also have the smallest speaker in their rooms that the use all the time. They figure out what to wear in the morning after asking it the weather. They use it for a timer. They love using it to communicate with other rooms. I'd say we use it 100 times a day. It has been an absolute game changer. It's also wired to a lot of our home (mainly use it for lights).

I had the second generation Echo 8 and traded it in for the third gen model. The response time is a little faster and there are a few other on-screen features that I can hardly notice the difference between. The third gen can recognize your face when you are in front of it and greets you.

are you in the ring camera ecosystem? I'm looking for a display for the bedroom that i can quickly (and bigly) see my ring cameras. I have a huge google hub max or whatever, but can't get my ring cams on there (without going through home assistant). Looking for a quick and dirty display.
