T-mobile has a hidden plan for 30GB data a month data plan (you get your own sim and need your own device).
I got a cellular modem for $40:

Call in or use their online chat to inquire about the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB plan (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI)". It is $15/mo but you get a $5/mo discount by using autopay.
If you can't repro then you suck. This also provides you with a phone number for the data account and you get access to t-mobile tuesdays despite it only being a data plan

I was able to chat with T-Mobile support and they did a network reset and the speed did improve for me but it is still 2-3mbps upload. I will call them again in a couple days as they said some maintenance is going on in my location.
Btw is this a prepaid or post paid plan?
I am 3 days into this plan and my bill got generated with a due date of 12/27. And it says different things. Online it says $10 is for billing period 11/06-12/06 but the pdf says 12/06-01/06. Which is correct?

After a couple of days my speed went down to nothing and I checked my account.
I have the $10 2gb plan. WTF ??

also, after thr transactiom, the rep will dirrct you to a promotions site to claim your 25 dollar costco gift card for each line. takes 3 to 4 weeks to process.
did this yesterday, may need to refer the rep to their manager if they cant find it. tell them to search for the code.
