How do they perform? Are you satisfied with them?

Yes, they've worked pretty well. Didn't really use them outdoors, but they've held up. I have a lot more govee stuff and none of them have failed in the last 3 years. Only a few bulbs failed(started flickering at low brightness setting) which they happily replaced.

It looks like the only Govee lights that are Matter are the permanent outdoor pros?

Quick note - I have these and they're great - the brightness does my whole patio. BUT I'm pretty sure they are bluetooth only so be aware of that. I actually put mine on a smart outdoor switch to turn on and off instead of messing with BT unless I want a change. They also have timer functionality but I could never quite get it how I wanted it.

I have these on my patio and I love them. Great addition. Has held up to the elements so far. We keep them on the low setting for mood lights. The app makes them very customizable. I have them on.a schedule and they are always there for me.

(edit: I have the RGB version, still the same quality I'm sure.)

I have these and they are great! Love the smart features too. Auto on at dusk too

They can dim, twinkle and do auto on and off. Have been using for 6 months no issues

Seems like the app wants way too many permissions and is possibly collecting individuals' data/spying

Seems like a solid deal for those who prefer/require control via phone or integration into an existing smart home configuration.

FWIW, I installed these [amazon.com] 4+ years ago, and they're still going strong through four PNW winters, including 2-3 minor ice storms. Worth noting: I installed them properly by running a wire and attaching them to that as opposed to having the lights support all the weight. I prefer having a remote separate from my phone; one less app, and I can give it to guests so they can manage the brightness during a summer evening.

You can connect of the same style (Bluetooth or wifi). I have three strands connected together. I tried to buy a wifi strand hoping I could turn the whole thing wifi but it wouldn't connect.
