The Ryzen 5 is the i5

But there is vastly more to it than that....such as generations..

This CPU is more about not using quite a bit of energy than giving you brute force....but should be capable..
This is very similar to the Walmart/bestbuy version, though those are slightly more expensive and add backlit keyboard and touch screen.
Correction: this does have a backlit keyboard. It was disabled by default.
Build quality feels cheap. Overall, the laptop is ok for the price. I'll keep it, though I think I probably should have bought a higher quality used machine for less.
