This brand had a good reputation at the aerospace corporations I have worked for in my past. The case is something I wish I had for my not-every-day use of a multimeter. This brand passed NIST-traceable calibration checks required for some government contacts.

Fluke are so expensive because they have been enjoying those military contracts for so long, that they wouldn't demean themselves to go down so low to selling to the public.
Those are unbelievably ordinary for the amount of money they ask. There are literally hundreds of alternatives out there that are better than fluke.

My friend, this brand has a high reputation in ALL industries. I got my fluke out of the trash when the company I worked for threw three of them out - yeah I scored three. All I had to do was take them apart, and clean the display terminals. Gave two away, and still use the other. That was thirty years ago, and I still use it. I'm retired and am teaching myself circuit analysis, so just used it today.
