I don't think these will get any cheaper than this. Other than those who got lucky with Costco's pricing error, this is the cheapest I've seen this TV.

Edit: It is a bit cheaper through Samsung EDU/EPP if you do the CB + TV trade in deal

How about warranty? Is this reseller covered by original samsung's warranty?
I only see an additional option to buy additional protection for 2 and 3 years for $75 and $130.

The 65" was marginally cheaper through Samsung EPP/EDU/AAA/Gov discount paired with the cb that is mostly gone now. There it came out to be around $1071 + taxes on $1260. At 6% tax, that is around $1,147 where as this is $1,185. So about $38 more.

These are still cheaper directly from Samsung if you work in healthcare or are a first responder.

If I mainly use it in a darker bedroom, is it worth to spend $400 more?

Yes it is. S90D is rated very high by rtings and it has the QD OLED panel compared to WOLED panel that gets much brighter. With that said, this is much more expensive and not everyone's use case requires the best that is out there. Sansui is $600 which is much cheaper than the Samsung here. If you want the best picture and money is no object, you should go for Samsung. If you care about value and aren't looking for the best then stick with Sansui. With all that said, reliability on Sansui is still a big unknown.

I'm on my 3rd panel and awaiting the arrival of a new power supply. Take it with a grain of salt, my tech has nothing to say but bad things about the quality of materials from Samsung.

TV is just over a year old. My warranty company hates these TV's.
