Fabulous saw at a great price. I've done a handful of projects on mine so far, and hasn't skipped a beat, cuts incredibly well, and the rack and pinion fence rail is a game changer. Having the legs build in is amazing too. Accurate cuts time and time again.

If you don't want to spend more on the Dewalt, this is a no brainer.

Yes, and it's a great table saw. The only thing I'd upgrade is the Mitre gauge as it's plastic.

This is a great saw, I have it and love it. I think I paid $269 for it when it was on sale, this might be the lowest it's been since that price. It is kinda loud but you should be wearing hearing protection anyway with a table saw is the way I see it. Definitely worth it in my opinion at this price point.

Got mine for $299 a couple of years ago and I don't regret it one bit. Love the fact that the legs can fold and store away in my garage. If I were to upgrade my table saw, it'd be a SawStop. Otherwise at this price, it's a great deal.

Lucked out a got this saw NIB off FB marketplace a couple of years ago for $160. At the sub-$300 price point, this saw is an excellent value. Easy to zero in out of the box, stores easily, is pretty lightweight, top was (is) dead flat, and the rack and pinion makes adjusting the fence so much quicker and accurate. And it accepts a dado stack!

At this price, my only knock against the one I have is that the throat plate that came with it flexes too much as pieces get narrow. Not a problem for wide boards, but if you're ripping 1x4s in half you'll want to be aware of this. However, I think they updated and reinforced the design of the plate recently to help with that.

If you're talking about cutting an 4x8' long panel to 5' long then no, a table saw is not the best tool unless you have a very larger support table surrounding it. A circular saw or track saw would be better.

Yes, that is what I meant. Thank you! Wouldn't I still need the supporting table to cut it with a circular saw though and track saw? Hmmm, now I'm not sure how to pull off my project, lol
