Ours lasted less than two years. Would not recommend.

Got this deal last time - now I partially understand the hype around these - everyone in the house loves this hair dryer. Came looking new / works like new. Not sure what's 'different' aside from color and it was $10 cheaper last time.

All refurb Dyson's come with 2 year warranty from All-State who would have cut you check or sent you another unit from Dyson

Either you bought it new and it didnt last or you neglected to use the warranty that was available a year ago the last time this went front page

I got it from Newegg. I did not see any sort of warranty. Found the receipt, it was purchased Feb 2021, then died March 2023, so I guess it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

You do have to clean them. Most of the ones I've seen that "stopped working" were because the air inlet was dirty. The unit will detect when it's working too hard and stop working. Cleaning the unit will bring it back to life.

Wasn't the case for mine, unfortunately. The control board died. I thought it was the power switch at first, ordered a new one and installed it but turned out to be the board. Not worth repairing at that point.
