That is bs lol, I've had mine a year now and don't even know where mold would grow, they are straight forward plastic containers that clean very easily. The part that retracts is self cleaning and you can just wipe the rod off manually if you want to

I've read reviews saying the cups/lids are nearly impossible to clean in areas and get moldy along with the stick that goes in to mix everything and then back up into the machine.

GF wants this so we shall see

Honestly I want the new $300 margarita machine but again I've read reviews that are negative

I would buy it if you didn't need sugar with everything. Only drink diet stuff and you gotta add alulose or other additives as opposed to putting just a regular soda in with nothing else if you wanna do anything diet

They do have cavities- and need to be inspected. They are dishwasher safe- then you know they are clean.

where do you get your reviews from. There are thriving groups on facebook for the Slushi machines. I own one as well. and they are amazing for the money. No ice, no freeze time required, like the creami. Work great. They do have some crevices in the resevoir tank, but if you clean it as soon as you use it, or use a small brush, it is not an issue. I have made many frozen beverages and even a milkshake so far. $90 KC at Kohls too, but no coupons. Warm deal if you catch it in stock.

I've had mine for a long time now and haven't used it but maybe half a dozen times. Really should use it more. All I've done are basically sorbets with frozen peaches or pineapple

We LOVE ours. We use it at least a few times per week & have for the last 2+ years. We add the ingredients to the Creami containers, blend them individually (if they are different flavors), pour them back into the Creami containers, freeze for half a day or so, & then Creami away! We make all kinds of delicious ice cream, sorbets, etc. By blending in our Vitamix we are not limited to only using soft canned fruit & can use anything we want. We make protein powder Creami ice cream, sorbets, ice cream, etc. The treats all taste so delightful with a fabulous texture. It has been great for our large family with food allergies. We custom make our healthy treats using real ingredients, no artificial sweeteners, dyes, etc.
We have ZERO mold issues. People who have mold issues are probably not cleaning the containers & lids thoroughly. The easiest way to do that is immediately after making a Creami treat, and not letting it sit on the counter for hours on end to dry on.

Excellent deal, I got mine refurbished for 140 about 2 months ago. I use it on a regular basis (5-6 times a week) mainly making protein ice cream with some good macros, 205 calories for 37g of protein

My only real complaint when I had it is that it sounds like a jet taking off whenever you using it. I don't own a home so I ended up returning it as it was just way too loud.
