For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

How bad are the ads?
I was sharing an account with a friend who had the ad free version but that ended and I still need to finish Over Achiever!

Created a new account and clicked the link. Did the Disney+ plan and was going through PayPal checkout. Everything kept saying $2.99, I clicked submit and received a pop-up saying " you aren't eligible for this promotion". It then billed me $10.99. Guess I'll need to do a charge back

The ads are pretty bad. They're frequent, 2+ minutes, and often repetitive. A $1 is a $1, but IMO use the paid version to watch shows, then cancel when you're not.

That time of year again. Add a number to the end of your email address. Clear your cache and cookies. Add a new payment method. Then watch Hulu again.
