For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

Had to go use an older account myself. Last year account wasn't working. But I have never been cancelled on by hulu. Can't say the same for apple tv. They outright will cancel if use multiple accounts. At least they did for me.

This won't work on the acct you used last year that still has a week or so left before it expires. You need to use a new or alternate old acct to get the deal. And this deal ends a day or two before that one from last year completely ends.

I used an old acct, it took fine and I got the deal.

Ugh, a few hours ago I searched the internet and Slickdeals and found no deal for 2024. So, a few hours before this post I resubscribed using the $2.99 6-month deal that popped up when I tried to cancel last year's deal which was ending today. Do I have to create a new account and use a new card to get the .99 cent deal?
