I can't believe some people complain about some ads. It is only 99 cents per month and Hulu has a lot of solid content worthy to watch. I have 3 other main streaming sites too and I have been using Hulu more than them. I got rid of Netflix long time ago and don't have any interest in them. I watch OTA television so I guess that I am used to commercials that seeing some ads don't bother me.
yeah, I fully agree. My wife hates the ads but it really just doesn't bother me. Especially considering this price.

How bad are the ads? Like for example in a 2 1/2 movie on Disney plus, how often is there ad

First time hearing about this, and this is a yearly thing? I've been missing out! So how does this work, I have to cancel my subscription next November before my rate goes up since it's month by month basis?
Yes that's exactly how it works. Next year, you would have to be open a new account to get the new deal.

Didn't see if this was already asked, but is there an option to go add-free as an add-on once you get in on this deal? I did Peacock $30 for a year up front, then added $6 /mth for ad-free. Assuming this is only for the ad supported version with no option to add ad-free, but any thoughts or experience would be great.
Always the ad version for deals especially with Hulu. Either you get this heavily discounted rate because the ads subsidize the costs or you pay full price for the no ad version.

Usually no more than 2 minutes in length. The ads usually run every few minutes in the beginning of the movie and start to subside near the end. Most people don't find it excessive. I don't. But if you absolutely hate ads of any kind then the deal is not for you.

I got this deal last year and watched 12 seasons of Bones on Hulu. I was surprised there were no ads during Bones although our Hulu plan was "with ads". Does it happen to other shows on Hulu, too?
More recent/popular shows def have more ads. Some are given a break like.. I don't remember ads for Shogun. I am watching Schitt's Creek without ad block but I can't watch Bob's Burgers, such a short show and it gets interrupted the most.

I don't remember the number of ads, but it was more than I cared to sit through. I cancelled last year while having this deal. It seemed they really ramped up the number of ads, and I think I'm passing on it this year too. I really like alot of the content, but I'm hung up on having to pay at all just to watch this many ads. It's a good deal, but I honestly didn't watch any content on these services because of the ad density.

Got it thanks! Had to go off an account that hasn't been used in years for it to show the deal. Nice, now I'm set with Peacock $20/year, Paramount $20/year and Hulu/Disney $36/year.

Peacock premium is free if you have xfinity plan. Hulu can be free too if you use discover. I was tempted to add disney+ but i don't see content that really interesting. My kids all grown up. They don't follow disney movies anymore.

In the past I have only ever done the Hulu deal, but I might combine it with Disney for 2.99/month. For anyone that has done the combo before, is it possible to cancel the D+ sub a few months in and still hold onto the $1/month Hulu deal, or does it live and die by the package?
This is what I would like to know, did you find out?

I try to login to my Disney account that I haven't used in ages and it sends me a confirmation code to my email but the code doesn't work. I tried several times. Is anyone else having this issue?
Me too!! It was such a hassle. U have to go through some Disney website and reset ur password through that and then the code will work. Wasted almost an hour of the day trying to figure out my Disney account password that I never knew existed
