For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

Everyone having to create a new account for the deal, keep in mind with Gmail you can add a + and some text after your email address and it is treated like a whole new email even though everything sent to it goes to your base email address. For example, [email protected]. Apologies if this has been covered ad nauseam already, I haven't skimmed the whole thread yet.

Yup! I grabbed the Hulu + Disney bundle. I opened up Disney+ to watch a show last night and was getting 90 seconds of ads literally every few minutes. What makes it even worse is it was the same ads over and over. I'm canceling this garbage.

I think last year I was able to get the Hulu with Ads + Disney+ no ads for $11.99 and Amex was giving a $7/mo bill credit for that package which made it pretty cheap. Looks like this year I'll have to pony up if I want the Disney+ no ad package. Was fun while it lasted.

If you buy that, you're not getting Disney+ or Hulu.

Just a tip for anyone that does this annually and doesn't want to use different emails every time which you end up losing track of.

You can do something like:

Hulu will ignore anything after the + since its concatenation
