For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

Currently have Hulu thru TMobile. Disney+ sub inactive. When I try to sign up for the bundle deal, was routed to Hulu site due to having current sub. But the price was the normal $10.99. Any suggestions on getting this BF deal to work?

Just tried to watch one episode of Acolyte on the ad-supporter Disney+ plan. There were ads exactly every 5 minutes for about 90 seconds. It's crazy how bad it is. Don't think I can attempt the rest of the season!

I plan to start subscribing on Nov 1st. That way we can still have Disney+ through Thanksgiving weekend 2025.

Since it doesn't appear that I can add this to an existing subscription, if I cancel my subscription, will I be able to activate immediately again using the same account or will I need to create a whole new account?
Usually you have to wait 30 days after cancel to get promotional rate

Their spiel is when you get sick and tired of ads, you click cancel and they give you an "offer" without ads.
With ads it is just unwatchable. Both Hulu and Disney+.
Hulu load up 12-13 min per hour, disney a little bit less, but still too much ads for my taste.
Yep. The broadcasters probably don't realize it, but too many ads is part of the reason they are failing now too after Netflix came along and reminded everyone what it is like without any ads.

Some of the really old TV shows are 50 minutes long, meaning they used to only have about 10 minutes of ads per hour. Then in the 70s and 80s they went to 45 minute long shows. Now days it is 40-42 minute episodes. 20 minutes per hour or 60 minutes of ads during the 3 hours of primetime is ridiculous.

The biggest problem with Hulu and other streaming services is showing the same ad during every commercial break. 15 minutes isn't too bad (10 would be better) but the same ad 5 times an hour is seems worse than 20 minutes of ads on the broadcast networks.

Any deals on ad-free subscription.?

I've done this BF deal for years, but can't take so many program interruptions any longer. Netflix keeps the ads short and infrequent. Hulu seems to use the opposite model.
Agreed. Even at $0.99/month, the ridiculous number of commercials don't make this desirable.

Created a new account and clicked the link. Did the Disney+ plan and was going through PayPal checkout. Everything kept saying $2.99, I clicked submit and received a pop-up saying " you aren't eligible for this promotion". It then billed me $10.99. Guess I'll need to do a charge back
Next time use a credit card with $5 purchase limit. If it goes through, it's the bank's fault. Otherwise these scammy websites can't charge you more than what you are willing to pay.

Yup. Mine just released a new BF 10% deal on reups and new subs. But you still can't beat $0.99 for HULU.

If you subscribe on Nov 1st, wouldn't the subscription end before Thanksgiving?

They probably meant Dec 1st. Since the deal expires on Dec. 2nd.

Yeah.. i agreed with a lot of comments here that the ad just insane! It's not only annoying but have enough interruption that I can't really enjoy the show at all. It's definitely not for everyone.
