For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

For some reason they're charging ME $3.41/mo. Isn't that weird??? Maybe it's an upcharge if you use PayPal???

My wife's account got billed for the full monthly amount the other day when her promo expired. She used live chat to ask if she could switch to the new promo and get refunded for the full-price month. They refunded her for the most recent charge but told her to sign up for this year's promo using a different email address.
FYI - the live chat rep said your account must have been cancelled for at least 30 days for your account to be eligible for this year's promo, but YMMV since some people are having issues.

So i was on the old Hulu promo that included disney add on (no ad). It was about $7 + tax. usually I would cancel and they would offer me the promo again for another 6 months. This time when I canceled, it did not offer it to me. I heard that if I truly let it cancel out (12/28), I will never be able to get the Disney no ad add-on anymore. Is anyone in the same boat? Am I doing it wrong this time?
