For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

Wow, clicking through the top post to get both Hulu + Disney screwed us out of getting the Starz add-on. At least it's only a 3 dollar loss, but still.

Yeah only reason I'm not going with this is not only do u get ADs but can't download movies for watching later and don't get 4K Dolby Vision best quality.
Actually, seems u still get 4K and HDR with AD version just lose Dolby Atmos audio which only few movies got anyways nod

Yeah it says very clearly in updated terms Disney+ with no AD's add-on possible anymore. Only if u had it before october or whenever they changed it. They calling it "Legacy Disney Bundle" now if u look at table in link I included.
"Please note this plan is no longer available to purchase or switch into on Disney+. Existing subscribers will be able to keep their plan so long as they do not cancel or change it."

Cheapest Disney+ without ADs now is Monthly: $15.99 as u can see in table here and no Hulu with Ads Disney without ADs available anymore so that's why I'm keeping. Cheapest Disney+ no ADs with Hulu is now Monthly: $19.99. That's why I'll just stick with the $13 I'm paying now unless they raise it again next year then prob get the $1 Hulu deal Mad

After I clicked on "Get Deal at Hulu" and subscribed to Hulu, the Premium Add-ons offered were max, Paramount+ with Showtime, CINEMAX®, and STARZ®.
No Disney.
I called Hulu support at 888-265-6650, waited on hold for 10 minutes, and canceled my Hulu subscription.
Then, instead of clicking on "Get Deal at Hulu" on this page,
I went to hulu.com and clicked on the Disney with ads for 2.99/month bundle deal.
I had to use a different email address to get the bundle I wanted.

It looks like Ads on Movies are a lot better than on Shows/hourly episodes?

Any other Ad observations? I've just stopped watching episodes/shows on some of these ad sevices. Even Prime has become unbearable.

it wouldn't let me get this deal on my existing account that I cancelled last week due to the last year deal expired. I logged out, and then the home screen showed this offer. Signed up using a different email, and then added on the STARZ as well. all good thru next thanksgiving I guess.

Can you pay the full year in advance or does it charge you monthly, which is kind of lame to have a $1 + tax charge per month on your cc.

If you cancel today you'll only have Hulu until your December bill date. Instead just set a reminder to cancel next November.
