This isn't expired for me. Need to clip coupon.
Much better deal than the 6th Gen Mini with double the RAM, double the storage and newer chip and works with Apple Intelligence. Price same at Costco also if people prefer their return policy

Not Minis due to their size and heat generated, can't get M chips so they use iPhone chips instead. In this case a binned A17 Pro chip that was used in the now discontinued iPhone 15 Pro that in speed tests is similar to M1 performance
