I would say a president is slightly better, but not enough to justify the extra cost.

I think it is, i have both, president feels a lot smoother and overall better quality. I have probably > 15 different reels of different brands and ceymar is my least favourite. But for this price I think it can be a good deal if someone wants inexpensive reel.

This is my workhorse reel, as in I use it when I am hiking around cutting through brush and stuff, places I wouldn't want to take an expensive reel. I have it on a light power Okuma Celilo rod (although in a smaller size reel). I think the 30 size reel would be good on a medium-light to medium setup

I've owned several of these reels for a couple of years now. They're worth more than full asking. They have outlasted other more expensive reels. I've caught big bass on them. Great creek to drop shot finesse reel. Excellent deal. Buying a few for future replacement.

I actually prefer the Ceymar, the President starts off great but never lasts for me. The Presidents are still decent, but for this price it's a no brainer.
