Yes, I got the delta 1 max a year ago for this price and it's been awesome (except for some firmware bugs that they fixed and the loud fans I replaced). The 2 has LFP and much quieter fans. Also the 2 supports more customizable behaviors in the app that I would love to have like when to prioritize solar over AC.

They fixed the firmware bugs but didn't replace the fans? That doesn't sound good.

That's not a good use for this, you'll get less than 2 hours running a 1500 watt space heater. Best bet is to get a propane or diesel heater outdoors, or use a gas generator if you must.

It can. It's still a terrible idea however. A 1500 watt space heater would drain this unit in about an hour and fifteen minutes. A tiny five hundred watt space heater would drain this unit in about four hours. Low draw items such as frigerators and freezers would do much better with this.

The best way for heat in an emergency would be your classic woodburning, stove or fireplace. If that's not an option to you. The next best option is propane. Running buddy heaters on propane will get you about the best bang for the buck. Another option is diesel heaters. But I have absolutely no experience with those.

Debating if I should get this over the delta 2 I just bought for 371 plus tax. I mainly use it for overlanding powering small devices or fridge during my camping trips. Is this a overkill ? Thoughts ? I also wonder what is the weight difference between this and delta 2 which has 1kw less capacity. Thanks
