The is the outsize, which has a bigger dust bin, more suction, and wider cleaning head.

EDIT: After clicking through the link, it doesn't seem to be. The Outsize is for sale from Dyson on ebay for the stated price though.

I bought a new "Dyson Outsize Origin" (i.e., no "V11 Torque Drive" in its name) yesterday, and it claimed 220 AW suction, while the "Dyson V11 Torque Drive" specs show 185 AW.

You have a link for the refurb V11 Outsize on Ebay for $280? Couldn't find it and many times they give an additional 2 yr warranty on the refurb item as well

Have folks had good experiences with Dyson refurbs? Got one several years ago that was beat to hell and had to struggle to get them to allow a return. I didn't expect it to look brand new, but I expected it not to look like it had been dragged for several miles behind a car.

I've had two good experiences. Both looked like new. Sorry to hear yours looked like it was hammered and returned.

Is this still a relevant model? I see they are up to $15... Not sure if it is sequential. But my wife tried this out at Costco and light the larger size and the lightweight. I don't care about refurbished. I don't think any sit back young will ever replace our trusty Miele, but can this get close? Also to echo someone else's question, if you buy a second battery, can you hot swap it if you run out of battery?

Had similar experience with one from Newegg. Was filthy and the return was a nightmare.

How long do the battery last? My concern is they don't include new battery and chaching $150 for battery replacement. Only 6 months warranty
