No, I've always used eneloop and tried these, hardly hold a charge. Eneloops by far are better.

Agreed. I bought a bunch of these late summer for fake candles. They need to be charged before using or they are noticably dimmer than the others (tenergy, power owl, eneloop.) They have decent life after that so... I didn't know what that means. Bigger voltage drop off? Might be fine in some applications given this price point, but I won't be buying today ...

Totally agree with the above comment. These are trash and barely hold a charge. Regret buying these in the past.

These have their purpose (kids toys, mainly) but I prefer the higher capacity batteries. They're also on sale right now - 16 for $15.49

I'm glad I'm not the only one that had issues with these. I used them for a small travel shaver and they never had enough power to keep the shaver running long. That was early 2020 though so maybe they have another supplier.

I've have had inconsistent results with the green Amazon rechargeables, as I've had one set that was ok, charge and hold charges reasonably, and another set that was garbage and I returned. I don't agree with the above comment saying "buy double of the Amazon for the price" because f that noise. I want things to work when I buy them. And while no brand lasts forever, the eneloops have lasted years longer in my experience than the Amazon ones.

The higher capacity (black label) Amazon batteries are a bit better, but none of them are as good as the eneloop equivalents.

Eneloops are superior and have a longer life span... no argument there. But, for stuff like mice, remotes, clocks, etc 77 cents a battery versus 20 cents for a single use battery (compared Amazon Basics to Amazon Basics), we're not talking about batteries being sent up to the International Space Station or Mars where we need the highest level of engineering precision. I haven't seen too many eneloop battery deals lately, though I haven't searched or looked.

Just buy once cry once eneloop. To this day, I am still using my nearly 20 year old eneloops I used for my game boy advance and they still hold a very good charge.

It is far more likely someone in the household throws them out not knowing they are rechargeable than them failing
