I have had this for many years and the stainless coating has started to come off at the tip and leaves some metal residue if you are not careful. The holes might not be big enough if you have larger grain litter. I would recommend it for $5.
EDIT: I have A SIMILAR one of these, it came unexpected in a Chewy order. Two things:
1. The holes are just a bit large and sometimes don't catch everything perfectly. That said, it is not bad enough to make me stop using it.
2. This thing is SOLID, I will likely only need a new litter scoop in the event of a house fire.
Bonus note - it is also quite a bit larger than your standard plastic litter scoop.

I switched to rigid metal scoops a few years ago for 3 cats. I cannot recommend them enough. The plastic ones can't handle urine clumps stuck to the bottom nearly as well.

I am waiting for shovel sized ones so I can scoop the whole litter box one time and dump the cow sized gifts my cat is leaving for us.
I have been using Ikea one, works well, and holes are just sized so it doesn't leave anything behind, especially since I am not using clay litter, I switched to "OUTSTRETCH" that does not clamp hard enough for urine. Urine tends to crumble a lot easier with those litters.
