My human has one, loves it, uses it all the time, and truly appreciates my magnificent leavings.

It will be perfect, filtering out the inedible rice and leaving only the shrimp and other good sized chunks of real food.

Does this work to scoop up fried rice on my Blackstone griddle?

I have had this for many years and the stainless coating has started to come off at the tip and leaves some metal residue if you are not careful. The holes might not be big enough if you have larger grain litter. I would recommend it for $5.

EDIT: I have A SIMILAR one of these, it came unexpected in a Chewy order. Two things:
1. The holes are just a bit large and sometimes don't catch everything perfectly. That said, it is not bad enough to make me stop using it.
2. This thing is SOLID, I will likely only need a new litter scoop in the event of a house fire.
Bonus note - it is also quite a bit larger than your standard plastic litter scoop.

I switched to rigid metal scoops a few years ago for 3 cats. I cannot recommend them enough. The plastic ones can't handle urine clumps stuck to the bottom nearly as well.

It has been recommended by my feline handler. I guess I should get in on this deal now, retribution can often be swift.

This will be perfect for picking up the gifts our cat has decided to start leaving on the carpet.

I am waiting for shovel sized ones so I can scoop the whole litter box one time and dump the cow sized gifts my cat is leaving for us.
I have been using Ikea one, works well, and holes are just sized so it doesn't leave anything behind, especially since I am not using clay litter, I switched to "OUTSTRETCH" that does not clamp hard enough for urine. Urine tends to crumble a lot easier with those litters.

Doesn't this rust insanely fast given the cat urine?

I've owned this since 2016 and had between 1-3 cats at any given time since then (RIP to the one in avatar, my #1 homey). No rust, I just took a look.
