Dont forget to turn the inflator to the back and look for "type 2" top left next to the model #
Type 1 is the older model that they trying clear inventory.
Reddit posts say that Type 2 has a much better internal pump. Looking at the manuals for both Type 1 and Type 2, there is a sentence removed from the Type 2's manual stating the inflator needs to rest for 20 min after 10 min of use. Otherwise the manuals are the same. So that would support the claim of Type 2 having a superior pump.

Unfortunately, the version of the inflator is not stated on the box to my knowledge.
Bomgaars just had these for $80. Lowest I've seen was $75.

Bomgaars hardware store usually has this thing on sale $89 in Nov-Dec & Homey Depot or Lowes sometimes will price match them using online chat.

Fantastic inflator if you're in the Dewalt ecosystem. Great for high PSI tires.

Just got one myself, love it. I wish there was a better price and storage for A/C cord/adapter but I find myself not needing it with the Dewalt battery option. Truly a portable inflator.

The page says the AC power cord and adapter are sold separately, is that true? Also, stupid question but can this be used for a variety of pressures for things like air mattresses or sports balls

Doesn't come with an A/C adapter, but mine came with a car cigarette lighter adapter.

I found it to be more versatile than the Milwaukee inflator that I wound up returning. The Milwaukee is faster but it would limit the psi if I tried to use a smaller battery. The Milwaukee is also battery only so the Dewalt is better to carry in the car for me.

It does have options to inflate and deflate a number of things but haven't tried that personally

Yaas!! This thing is best thing since basmati rice. It has different adaptors to inflate your soccer ball, football, bicycle, car tire, air mattress, & love doll 💜

Home depot just dropped their price to $99, so if you have a military or other discount, it might be cheaper

Great tool. I have an air compressor, but this is so good I find it as my go-to for pumping up my car tires. Pressure setpoint is very convenient and accurate.

I have also used it to inflate my wing foiling wing, which is pretty high volume and low pressure, around 6.5 psi. It works great for that - I use it in the low pressure / high flow mode to get things pretty full (until the pressure is no longer increasing). Then I switch over to the high-pressure pump (different pump, different hose, same unit) and let it take it up to 6.5 psi (or whatever I want).

Perfect for that, and much nicer to have a general-purpose tool do that vs. one of the specific tools that do that only.

I got mine about a year ago on a similar SD deal for probably 80-90, maybe also benefiting from my military discount in that. This is a good deal here.
