So put a monitor in a suitcase and it becomes 5x more expensive. Gotcha!

In their defense it has a 3 hour battery and some wireless software integration so it's not purely a markup for the calming beige suitcase.

I imagine some salespeople have a use case for it when they have to demonstrate software in remote locations.

If the price was $250 it'd be a fun toy worth considering.

I own the one with the stand. I use it for a larger display in my home gym screen mirrored to an iPad where I play work out videos. The 27 inch touch screen itself is nice because you can control the iPad directly from the LG touch screen.

Saw the review, this monitor has a price of $1200 at the time of review 9 months ago and now the price has basically nosedived. Maybe this monitor would be good if you take to camping RV, or out in the backyard at nighttime. Maybe some salesman who does presentations. Yeah, it is a niche product.
