Good jack. Had it for a few years and never fails me. VERY HEAVY to lift around.

Yes and it's got that same Item Number on the shelf price tag. Price is good until 12/22/24.

VERY heavy jack. My closest store was already out of them, somewhat unfortunately.

Arcan is about the same weight as the similar Husky or Pittsburgh 3 ton jacks, 78-79 pounds..

Which app? I put in that number into the Costco app and it comes up empty.

Nevermind! I can see it if I tap the Warehouse tab in the app.

Solid deal on a solid jack!
This jack (or at least a predecessor) is actually the purchase the prompted me to get a Costco membership almost 15 years ago, and I still use it regularly. Love that it's low enough to get under my lowered Miata, but still has plenty of lifting height.
It's definitely hefty, as others have pointed out. But unless you're a mobile mechanic, it's a no-brainer at this price.

I'd spend a little more and a get a hybrid jack (steel+aluminum). It'll be about 3/4 of the weight at 60lbs vs 80lbs. Wayyy easier to move around.

I bought an Arcan jack from Costco 15 years ago and it has been flawless. It looks very similar to this one.

I love Costco but I think the aluminum Daytona one that went on sale would be a better general buy, if it goes on sale again. It weights about half as much for the two ton. Unfortunately can't see the price it went on sale for the 3 ton. This is definitely cheaper though.

If this js the one I'm thinking of, the lift height isn't great. Enough for your standard sedan, but too low to handle a crossover or suv. Could barely lift the tires off the ground on my 22 mitsubishi outlander.

My 2 cents, I've had steel jacks since the late 70's and never had an issue, after 30 years maybe the piston seals leak and the jack will no longer stay up. I finally due to age and weight decided to try a harbor freight aluminum jack that lasted 6 months due to my Rx 350 must have been off level a drop near my driveway and BAM, that jack tilted and crushed like a tin can-it wasn't up high or off by much. I will never trust another aluminum jack, I used my old jacks on every surface you could imagine growing up and they never budged. Also always use a jack stand for safety with any jack. Happy Thanksgiving all
