USB 2.0 the cable only for charge (if 240w true) it's almost regular price for a same cable

Some Cable Matters Type-C cables are USB-IF certified but not these.

What could you connect USB-C at 240W? Toaster oven or something?
Also most charging cables are just charging cable right, not meant for data, so can't use for PD and Data for USB-C monitor?

Usually meant for the laptops that are (or can be) powered via USB C.

This has been mention in countless forums and reddit subs. USB industry is really taking advantage of this by making it very easy to sell cheaper, slower (data and/or charging), cables alongside better ones. It's really a shame there isn't a true standard, and here we thought the cable fragmants was finally over with everyone being forced to adapt USB C. Where is the e waste reduction act? What's the point when people have to keep buying cheap cables realizing they are too slow and buying another cable for another purpose and so on...
