I bought this exact computer last week, it's a beast. This is the motherboard: https://www.asus.com/motherboards...-a-ax6-ii/

My 4070 Super is an msi (I realize that can vary)
Memory is T Force Delta 16GBx2 5200

I found a discussion of this pc on reddit. Here is what they said about the loudness.

"I have one, and the fan loudness is fixable. For some reason the BIOS setting has the case fans going at max speed all the time, so I just went in to the settings and set up a curve. Once I did that it's much quieter now."

That's the neat part. You can upgrade the wifi chip yourself with a desktop. Also, no one uses wifi on a gaming machine.

Bought one and Windows won't boot up. Error message. Costco tech support said to return the PC. WOW, these are low quality.

After doing all the windows updates, bluescreen still appears here and there. I probably have to exchange for a new one.
Yes. exchange for new one, probably a hardware issue.

Make sure you open up the case and confirm everything is nice and tight. I bought a similar one from iBUYPOWER and one of my ram sticks was slightly not seated all the way in. Others who purchased it also noticed other loose components during shipment, so it's a common thing. Check both components and wiring.

Plus with various discounts and cash back options, you can get the Dell for $1000 (plus $100 of dell credit) before taxes so significantly cheaper than this one.

Can you kindly share some ideas how to get it for $1000 (plus $100 dell credit)?

Are you for real? No they're not. Shit happens during shipping all the time. It doesn't take much to knock something lose or out of alignment, and delivery drivers are absolutely swamped. Most aren't exactly gentle with heavier packages, as this is. Get a grip. Chances are all you have to do is re-set the hard drive or gpu.

If you're not bullshitting us, then chances are one system has the original bios, and the other has the update.

This is very bad hardware. We can keep doing the workarounds. I am not sure how long this system would last with all the lower fan speeds. Not sure if the chips are already damaged running in lower fan speeds., The workarounds mentioned keeps the system quiet while minimal processing, once there is significant processing activity the fans starts howling . Another MAJOR concern is the bios update. I wasnt comfortable doing it. Returns were taken back without any questions. Thanks Costco! Finally, one should ask can this system last at least 5 years running continuously every day. My answer is a strong no!
A BIOS update is literally like any other software update. It may sound intimidating because it's BIOS but it's not that's serious. The only extra step you have to do is manually download the update off the manufacturer's website and onto a USB stick, which anyone can do. Even buying a more expensive computer won't make me avoid this.

please confirm mobo make and model on this unit.
Got this from warehouse yesterday. CPUZ reports the motherboard is "MSI PRO B760-VC WIFI-7 BULK (MS-7D98)". There is another field that says "2.0" next to this info, but not sure what that means.
