I've had this the last two years paired with the G502 Plus [amazon.com]. I use the plastic hard top though it also has a fabric soft top in the box. Haven't ever had to charge my mouse

Agreed, been using this for quite a few years now and been fantastic as I never have to charge my mouse. Very good surface for gaming.

I use it with the same mouse but with the fabric top. For anybody wondering it usually keeps your mouse charged at 75-85% or so. You cannot charge more than one mouse at a time.

The lengths people will go to not use a wired mouse despite it still being the ideal solution 99% of the time….

It's definitely not. With that said, I don't have to charge my wireless mice very often either. About once every 6 months I leave it plugged in overnight and that's it. So, this product is nice to avoid that or for heavy gamers that will burn through battery much faster (I do productivity / design work). Necessity for gamers and nice luxury for others is probably where this fits.

I'm hoping someone chimes in with a cheaper alternative. I have the 502x and it would be nice to not have to even think about charging it, but I don't want to pay this much for convenience(but I might).

I have seen you can get alternative pucks to enable regular wireless charging, but I forget the details and if it would actually save $.

I know this is a different product line but I wish this was compatible with mx series mice.

Yeah I agree with that, thankfully my MX seems to last quite a while between charges, but still would be nice to not have to think about it.

The wire gets in the way and new wireless tech has no discernible lag. Ask the pros. I own a g502x lightning and g pro super light. They're both absolutely incredible and great for gaming and graphic design.

And in high many high end mice actually performs better than wired (though I wouldn't believe anyone who said they could tell).

I bought it bundled with keyboard and mouse weeks ago direct from Logitech. Paid $66 for it plus 20% cash back from Cap One Shopping. They even have the amount wrong showing cash back at $100 as they based it on orig list price.

Wow, I have the G502 X Plus and didn't even know this mat or wireless charging was an option. Near $300 for a mount setup is nuts, but that is pretty cool and I do love the mouse.

I've had this teamed with a g502 for a couple years now as well... It's been out for a while now and it's kinda pricey but boy do i love this setup. It does a great job keeping the charge in the low 80% range to help reduce battery wear and tear and i've had 0 disconnects using it.
