fandango rewards + theater rewards. and better website. amc website sucks. it does not list all movies. it has further classification imax, imax+, imax++, artisan, 5$ bla bla. u have to hunt where your movie is listed. fandango shows all movies under theater.

The fees range from $2.19 to $2.69 in my area AMC, Cinemark, and Marcus Theaters. You can waive it for AMC locations by joining AMC Premiere for $14.99 year, going to $17.99 starting January 1st. Marcus Theaters waives it for Tuesday for all Magical Movie Rewards Members, visit Marcus Theaters 4 times a year (only 1 ticket/showtime counts as a visit per day), or join their Movie Club for $9.99 a month and it waives the fee and you get a credit for a free regular 2d movie via the Marcus Theater app.

They just ripped me off of my $5 Gladiator code, no one available to talk to me at customer service. I'm done with them.

That is not universally true, not all theatre chains waive fees. The one closest to me has no fees in their own app but Fandango charges them. The ones you're referring to (AMC, Cinemark, etc) also don't waive fees for free: requires some kind of subscription.

For people that see 4-6 a year like me this deal offsets fees, but for instance, ignoring tax, for $35:
3 $10 showings in theatre
3 $12.69

See the problem? You *mostly* eke out an extra showing with the GC deal here but it's not an amazing savings if you're paying the Fandango fees.

No, just Googled and found their customer support Q&A where it states you can't use it for Fandango at Home. Had the same thought as this would be the only reason to buy this, at least for me.
