TorGuard is based in Florida. Make of that what you will.

This is their deepest discount yet. I am adjusting my plan from ~$55 triennially to $38.50 triennially.

Come this April, my membership will be 10 years old (holy crap). Not a single ISP email since 2015. They're based in the USA (bad privacy jurisdiction), but, the proof is in the pudding; Been perfectly happy so far.
I've used Torguard since 2015 and have had only great service. My internet is only 500/500 but I get an able to get my max speeds.

This is the best deal I've seen them ever offer, so I just renewed for another 3 years and submitted a ticket claim for them to simply extend my existing service.

I'm not following how there is no solution. There must be hundreds of thousands or more Surfshark customers who use iOS. If my iPad and iPhone use IPv6 and IPv4, there must be a way around IPv6, since Surfshark told me they don't support IPv6, only IPv4, which is common with most VPNs, if I'm not mistaken. I don't know how to,disable my network's IPv6 support. They had me sign into my Gateway's admin panel, but there are no settings for IPv6. I figured their support chat would have the answer, but nothing yet. If you have any advice, you can dm me.

Quote from Kairi :
I have become less enamored with Torguard over these many years, and have only been using their service just out of familiarity.

That's the problem with getting locked up with them for multiple years; they don't lower the rate when an opportunity comes along.

I requested their customer service to put me on the new Black Friday promo rate, and they just responded by sending me an invoice to tack on more years. That U.S. jurisdiction of theirs is now starting to become a serious issue when comparing to other VPNs, and now I'm just going to let my service lapse, and look next year what better VPNs are out there.

The RestorePrivacy website compares Torguard to nearly all other VPNs, and this one always comes up as an 'Avoid'.
I've had TorGuard for years and was about to renew but decided to do some research to see what's considered the best VPN/Torrent downloading VPN out there. I went through several Reddit forums reading comments and guides, alot of people love Proton VPN based in Switzerland. I signed up for their Black Friday deal was like $45 or something for 2 years. So we'll see how it goes, haven't tried it yet.

Thanks for this. I didn't actually purchase this deal though. It got me thinking about whether or not my current VPN provider (AirVPN) is offering any deals right now and they are. I ended up extending my service for 2 additional years at $56. Not the best deal, but AirVPN has worked really well for me and torrenting. I have 2 years of Surfshark left and that purchase was a waste of money. They don't allow port forwarding.

Tried them in the past. Slow. Most legit sites always have extended bot checks. Not as many server locations. I went back to Nord.

Thanks for this...I needed a proxy for a kodi app and this was perfect. Plugged it in and it worked without issue.
