I fully agree with the sentiment of seeing what's in them with the clear totes. However, the chemistry to make them transparent also makes the plastic brittle and prone to cracking. The non clear plastic remains more pliable and resistant to destructive kids and extreme temperatures. These are more worth it if durability > convenience.
I left one out in the sun for 4 months and after a powerwashing it looked brand new again. Definitely picking up more

It says on the Lowe's app that the sale ends Dec. 4th.

Clear totes are the only way to go in my opinion. No amount of labeling will be better than actually being able to see inside when trying to find something.

Agree, got a bunch from Officemax recently made by this same company for around $10-12. Worth the difference to me plus good way to cash out rewards.

Yes the same. Only the engrave pattern on top are different.

But they should be able to stack on each other.

Lowe's will bring these out for curbside pickup. Home Depot will not (it just says visit the store for availability). Lowe's has won my business.

In my experience the lids on these are less durable than the Greenmade ones you get at Costco or Office Depot. May be important if you are planning on stacking these heavy on each other

Clear containers are good for identifying the contents, but a lot of things keep better when shielded from light.

i've stored six of these packed full of wheat outside in Minnesota weather from -30°F - 100°F for a about ten years. They're buy-it-for-life containers.
