I've been a pro Sonos user and person for years… but unless you are buying this as just a dumb speaker, I would do your research before you buy. Sonos has made a mess of their App and platform in the past year and still haven't been able to get it back to where it was. Just look at recent reviews on either App Store.

And if you are looking for dumb speakers, there are likely much better options.

Again, I'm not anti-Sonos. Just make sure you are going in eyes wide open.

These really shine as rears. I built up my system slowly this year.

Sonos Arc, Sub and 2x Era 100 as rears. Excellent sound ....all of these compliment each other so the bass/dialogues are distributed very well.

Just make sure to turn the era 100 volume to Max otherwise the speakers is too muted. I'm on iPhone and never had any issues with the app or config.

sounds kinda anti-Sonos to me lol. But also agreed. I have a bunch of Sonos speakers including a pair of Play:5s for desktop speakers. I've been trying to give them benefit of the doubt and defend them, but literally as of this morning, they keep cutting in and out, not even using any streaming, just audio via Line-In. pretty frustrating

How do you connect from the computer? thru 3.5mm line in? How do you connect to the second speaker if you use the line in option? Thank you.
