Yes, by modifying the tender car to hold the train motor and battery box. Does alter the look of the tender's wheels a little.

It looked to me like amazon was a matching walmart's $70. That's still listed on walmart's site, but it's out of stock for me pickup & shipping, but in case others might have stock in their area:
