Unless you're dealing with nylocs or corroded/damaged threads, max torque is pretty irrelevant with these. You're supposed to break the fastener loose manually by pushing or pulling on the tool like you would with a normal ratchet wrench, then pull the trigger to zip it out the rest of the way. 35 ft-lbs is sufficient for most cases. If it gets hung up, then use it manually to get through the rough spot.

If you're already into m12, then just buy this. Use an electric ratchet for a day and you'll quickly realize that only peasants turn sockets by hand.

Amen.... Although id prefer if the darn fuel version would go on sale or the ones where the included sockets pass through the head 🫤

I have this ratchet (received as a freebie with another purchase) and can tell you it is very underwhelming.

Not saying it won't work for you, but expect performance to be on par with price.

The Fuel version is 55ft-lbs, this is 35ft-lbs. That's over a 50% increase.

I don't discount what you say on theory, but if that were the case they woulnd't produce something more powerful.

My use case is working on my vehicles, most recently chevy tahoe for motor mounts, struts and sway bar end links. I didn't even bother with this ratchet.

That is not to say it doesn't have it's place. It just isn't useful for what I am doing.

Thanks op, bought the ratchet. Mine accidently dropped into a container of coolant last week. Usually they are on borrowed time after that... 🤦 ♂️

I agree with you above poster. If you already have M12 batteries, just pick up this ratchet it's so convenient. If you're not committed to the M12 system however, this is a much better deal for ratchet with more torque and includes a battery along with sockets.

57.99 - $11.60 = $46.39 not $45.39, if you're confused why you're not getting the price in OP

Followed instructions to a T and didn't get the extra $20 off on the laser distance tool but still a solid deal. Thanks!

Edit: Careful when logging into Woot in the app - it kept me in the browser to check out which is why I didn't get the 20%! Canceled and re-ordered with discount!!

Pulled the trigger on the ratchet. I have no idea how much I'll use it though, not sure if this purchase will end up being a mistake. Love my other M12 tools though, so fingers crossed!
