It's good but if you need 240V too, for just $200 more you can have the same solar bundle with the Delta Pro 3 AND have 4096Wh of battery.

Yea the dp3 is great, I have one also. But you only get 16.7a from it. So 240v for a standalone unit with 16.7a isn't game changer.

I have to agree with MetaPhorse. I actually prefer the Delta Pro to the Delta Pro 3 for various reasons. It really is the sweet spot of power, portability, and just the right connectivity port. Not to mention the Delta Pro has the sig lighter connectivity which is important to those of us who use these for RV/vans/camping.
If 240v is a key factor then maybe a Delta Pro Ultra is a better option for you.

If to be used a fixed location, then I'd rather use the money to get a 3 fixed 400W panels. But if it's for camping or traveling, then the foldable one it comes with is easier to move around

These solar panels are great. Only complaint is that they are big so they can be on the heavier end for some people. They are fine for me but not everyone is strong. The case that works as a stand isn't the best. They do offer a solar panel bracket for around $45 that is easier to use than the case provided for setting out. I use mine all the time camping and they work well.

Yea good call out. I've seen alot of people successfully build pvc pipe brackets that seem to work great too!

Just get two Delta Pros and a double voltage hub...and maybe an extra battery and you're good there in terms of 240

What's the deal with the tax credit on these "portable" units over 3kwh. Do people claim them regularly? My understanding is the IRS language is vague, basically requiring it to be "installed".

You'll never find a definitive answer because it's intentionally vague. Portable is fine as long as its over 3Kwh. Installed can mean using it as a ups. Personally, I'd buy the unit with a solar panel on same invoice and you've covered your scrutiny bases.
