They are 2 completely different mics. ATR2500 is a condenser mic while the Beyerdynamic is a dynamic mic. Dynamic mics are nice for those without sound treated rooms as they pick up less background noise. You will also need an audio interface to connect this to a PC as it's not USB like the ATR2500 is. I added Podcastage's reviews of both mics so you can get an idea of how it sounds.

I have been using this mic for about a year. Sounds great, but I need a fethead to get enough clean gain.

Really cool looking Mic. Negative comments seem to focus mostly on some hype in the upper frequencies and a less solid low end than something like an SM7B. I'm tempted to give it a shot at this price.
