Why would a local bookstore have a large quantity of Apple AirPods and why would they sell them with a discount? Maybe they just have a few, but it is also possible they have fakes. Risky.

They run university bookstores/sell college gear. Students want Apple products. There's nothing sketchy about it. They're authorized.
