They don't compare it to the D but here is what they had to say about the C:

"The LG C3 OLED and the Samsung S90C OLED are similar TVs occupying the same market position. Of the two, the Samsung is the better gaming TV and slightly better overall TV, while the LG is the better TV for movie fans. The Samsung has a wider color gamut and gets brighter than the LG, especially in HDR; not only that, but it also maintains its HDR brightness better in Game Mode. It also supports 4k @ 144Hz (120Hz on the 83-inch model), while the LG is limited to 4k @ 120Hz. However, the LG supports DTS audio formats and Dolby Vision, making it great for Blu-ray fans. It also has better low-quality content smoothing than the Samsung TV, making it better for watching streaming content, especially in low-bitrate situations."

I just placed the order on LG.com with the final price including tax - $1105.00 (Los Angeles)
This includes the TV, Free Wall Mount Installation, Free ear buds (LG TONE Free ® T80 Dolby Atmos® True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds, Black)
Finally 6% CB from C1 and 30% CB rewards from C1 shopping, bringing down the effective price of the TV to $760.00

Thats great. The 15% I had would not work on c3. Cap One Max is $250 so anything over $830 doesnt earn Cap One Rewards

without tax - this seems like a better deal.
i'm curious as to why this doesn't have more comments, is it because of greentoe?

i have the samsung 65 frame on order - but i can cancel
but i'm stressing if i should cancel and spend the extra 250

Hard to get excited about a c3 which has been around this price since the great Target clearance. That and this weeks 65G3 for 1500.

Wishing I jumped on the 77 g4 but I'll settle if I can find a good sub 1600 C4.

I ordered one. When I figured in the sales tax that I would normally pay in PA where I live, which is 6%.....it comes out to $1036.79 before tax, which I think is a pretty good price. If you live somewhere the sales tax is higher, then it's even less than that.

Keep in mind that you had to pay sales tax on that, and when you add that in this offer is just a little more (< $45) than what you actually spent. How much different depends on the sales tax where you buy it at.

In NJ we have to pay sales tax on anything we buy even online purchases so sales tax is moot.

The price from Greentoe is the total price out the door from what I understand. If you Google it, people are not paying anything extra above the offer price that was accepted....believe me, I checked before I ordered one. So it does matter.

Whether or not Greentoe knows they're supposed to collect sales tax for NJ or not- I'd much rather go to a B&M store for a TV and walk out the door with my TV and pay the extra $30 in taxes we are supposed to pay. To each their own. I hope my patronage helps keep PC Richard's in business.

Makes sense, you still actually saved money going through PC Richards pay $999+tax....if I had one near me I probably would have gone there and bought one instead.

I can confirm the max $250 CB as this is the amount I see on my C1 shopping Rew today for the C3 order placed yesterday. I also applied 10% promo code received from lg chat. Here the new promo code received today, 'CAP101124F85AV', which will work only for one-time use to get 10% discount on the c3 order.
