I bought this deal as well as the one Bose 700 deal, finally end up returning this one , it doesn't sound good for large room, I felt that Samsung Q990C is better than this .. for 1500 budget Bose 700 is a good deal
Sorry last post was testing if i could post, anyway I have this system and love it. My living room is small / medium, and kind of narrow. I have an LG 48in C1Oled so the size, particularly the length, is perfect for my setup. I would have considered the next step up Ultra smart soundbar from Bose however it would look weird under a 48inch tv.
Sound is fantastic all around. Dialogue is significantly better than my previous Bose tv speaker. Dolby atmos is incredible in Twister, Twisters, Top Gun Maverick. It's made me kind of an audio snob, at least in the sense I can't imagine going back to stereo. What is this 1960?
I am in fact a Bose fanboy. I'm 42, but have always wanted a Bose complete home theater, and this has exceeded my expectations except 1 thing:
I plug the soundbar in via hdmi arc, and when I am in windows on my pc occasionally a very irritating buzzing will happen requiring me to mute and unmute to get rid of. I believe this is an issue with windows > Dolby atmos app rather than the hardware itself.
Therefore I give this my highest recommendations to those in a similar situation as me in a similar environment. If your tv is 65inch, or even 55 possibly, I'd consider the Bose Ultra soundbar and subsequent accessories. However the Bose smart soundbar is arguably more impressive technically by being able to produce such incredible sound in a compact footprint. You will be hard pressed to find a similar sized soundbar, under 30inches length, with dual up firing, dual side, and center drivers, and in my opinion, incredible quality on as well.
If size is right for you, don't hesitate. 5 out of 5.
that one was 600 soundbar, this is a newer version.
This is basically the 600, however it includes Bose AI dialogue which actually is a terrific feature. I had purchased the 600 a month before this came out so I was able to return the 600, and get this, and AI dialogue is a killer feature as so many movies can result in poor mixes between dialogue and action, resulting in having to either be let down in one way or another to compensate, or worse be constantly having to raise and lower volume to hear dialogue, but then spare your and others ear drums because to properly hear dialogue you have to turn up volume to a setting that makes action noises actually too loud.
This has virtually eliminated this frustrating problem, and I'm super happy about it. AdaptiveQ should have been included with this soundbar however I've found that lowering bass on soundbar 2 points to negative 2, every thing else on default, is the best audio experience for tv I've ever had, and it's not even close.

I really wanted and have been watching the Bose Smart Ultra bundle but saw the Sony Quad Home was about the same price and better reviews. Seems like it would work out great in any size room or setup. Only thing I'll miss is being able to use Google Home with it but hopefully they'll add it later like they did with the Bose Soundbar 700 I still own after 4yrs.

Bass module is 500
Speakers are 300
I assume there is a crossover of some sort to filter frequencies to the proper speakers.
